From the first series of Fine Art Giclee Prints. The inspiration here is obviously Miro, but also other influences which seem perfectly harmonious to me: LA artist Shag, 70s absurdist R. Mutt, Kaz the underground cartoonist and the 1950s tiki and "dime store" art - those tall wall hangings with musicians and/or dancers or sometimes hula girls.
I love 'em ALL and want to reconcile them, mix 'em up and find some middle ground between all the highbrow and lowbrow elements. Call it unibrow.
