This piece began the "Pregnancy" series consisting of seven pieces, three of which are shown in this digital gallery. I'm not sure why I was fascinated with the subject - my wife and I considered children but nothing came of it. Was this my way of trying to compensate for that most basic of human experiences? What a thought!
First of the "Pregnancy" series executed by the artist in Summer/Fall 1998.
