Artist's Comment:I like the "sinking in earth" feel which goes along with my "fragment in a fragment" theme. But the real story of this sculpture is something different.
My friend liked this so I sold it to him for a ridiculous amount of money (at least compared to the market value which was pretty much zero at the time). What kind of dawg am I? Never befriend an artist; they are for the most part pathetic megalomaniacs who live in a dreamworld, have delusions of grandeur, suffer torments far in excess of their actual situation, and borrow a LOT of money.
But what the hell, Mister P - it'll probably turn out to be a good investment if you hold onto it long enough. And in my own defense (tho I am my only attacker) let me say that if the day ever comes when I can return the favor, I will do so without a moments hesitation! Art is actually a lot of fun.
